How to Cook Quinoa

Quinoa. It is a super delicious, high protein, high fiber, low glycimic index carbohydrate source. It is found at high altitudes in South America, and were in fact the great civilizations in this area led by him. It can be tasty, very nutritious, and is special to feed your guests. It goes well with almost any type of vegetable and meat dishes.

    Here in Singapore, where I live, is quinoa in health food stores and costs about 7SGD (about 4 USD) per 500g. The 500g and can last for extending many meals. Quinoa makes this more expensive than rice, but not from the budgetfor most people.

    Cooking instructions

    1. First, find out how much you Quinoa with respect to the "cups" or volume cooking. (Simply pour it into bowls and only count!)

    2. Then cook 2x as many cups of water, as you have quinoa. For example, to 3 cups quinoa, boil 6 cups water to boil.

    3. Once the water boils, with bubbles and steam! Add in the quinoa and turn the heat to low.

    4. Let cook at low heat for 15 minutes (or thereabouts) until the water has been absorbed completely.

    5.Serve to people you love because it's good for them!

    6. You can rest, save it in a refrigerator.
